Rambl has been deeply involved with the Melbourne underground electronic music scene for nearly two decades, cutting his teeth as a DJ in the thriving techno and deep house scene of the late 90s and early 2000s.

Running the infamous Moon Patrol parties in basements and rooftops of underground Melbourne nightclubs with partner in grime Declan Kelly (together known as Research and Development), his unique and energetic DJ style spanning soulful house, deep techno, abstract beats and spacious electronica has been showcased throughout innumerable nightspots and festivals and in support of nearly every luminary on his list. He’s also really good at mathematics.

Highlights of his career include throwing the first party at Melbourne’s infamous Honkytonks with Planet-e’s Recloose and Common Factor; running the influential underground art and music webzine r-n-d.net; helming the equally influential The City Rises radio show on Melbourne’s RRR FM; co-founding Melbourne’s This Thing record label; releasing ‘Theme From Juan’ on Osunlade’s Yoruba Records as part of the group Tempo Perdido; and working as the participant liaison for RBMA Melbourne 2006 and artist liaison and electronic stage manager for Meredith and Golden Plains music festivals (including THAT infamous DJ Harvey show).
