So much more than a DJ and producer, GiGi FM is a multidisciplinary artist with an innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge that weaves her work through sunken substrate and up through astral portals.

Having trained as a professional dancer at the esteemed NYC Ballet and Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, the French-Italian artist has built her work with movement at the core of her practice. Even after stepping away from formal dance training, she never lost the embodiment of the practice she grew up with, finding a new sense of freedom and expression in South London’s thriving and infamous underground squat parties.

Her unique and innovative approach to electronic music has set her apart as a dynamic and highly inspirational artist. Whether creating ambient soundscapes or peak time driving techno sets, the emotional depth and sensitivity in her work is mesmerising and full of relief. There’s a certain magic and safety that’s present as she guides each listener through floaty and fantastical landscapes with a warm and delicate touch, confirming her handle is deeply kinetic - tempting you to contact the inner most parts that propel you forward into complete surrender.

An NTS Resident Host, GiGi FM’s beloved and intimate show has been broadcasting for six years, sharing deep introspective journeys and orientating us in time and space with astrology readings and featured mixes from guests such as Donato Dozzy, Voices From the Lake, Jako Jako, Mareena, Polygonia and Vladimir Ivkovic.

A self-professed intergalactic mermaid, GiGi FM launched her label Sea~rène in 2023 to guide us through otherworldly, subterranean, euphoric soundscapes. With movement as a central tenet to her practice, her pioneering project GEM (Gestural Electronic Music) was also born; a process of music creation through motion sensing technology that translates physical movements into sound - Work that can be excperienced in her releases Kiwi Synthesis Diary vol 1 & 2 and her most recent release, Movimiento (2024).

Undeniably, GiGi FM is quickly becoming one of the most inspiring artists of our generation through her ability to transport and connect audiences through movement, dance and a highly emotional touch that inspires reflection, transcendence, and utter joy.
