Rick Wilhite Australia Tour

Record label owner, producer and Detroit legend Rick Wilhite AKA The Godson is one of the USA’s most prominent scholars of house and techno. With a sound rooted in jazz and funk, Wilhite integrates historical movements of dance music into his sets in underground yet accessible ways. He is a member of the Detroit Music Institute, an influential group which has included notable figures such as electronic musicians Derrick May and Juan Atkins.

Rick Wilhite is as relevant today as he was 30 years ago, particularly as part of the collective Three Chairs - a supergroup composed of fellow Detroit legends Marcellus Pittman, Moodymann and Theo Parrish.
