Shy One 2023

After our collaboration with Tribqu - Body Fusion Vol. 2 in 2022 where we invited Shy One down to Oceania, we’re excited to welcome the UK-based DJ and producer back for round 2 in 2023.

Having started off DJing on pirate radio as a teenager, Shy One AKA Mali Larrington-Nelson has an eclectic mix of sounds up her belt. Obsessively collecting releases from local unsung producers became a favourite pastime of hers from a young age; lending itself to her current off-kilter productions that have seen the light on Scratcha DVA’s renowned DVA Music label.

As for her DJ skills, her sets are entwined by an undeniable inspiration from her hometown of London, nurturing sounds that bounce between grime, broken beat, garage and all of their contemporaries.
